    Rough day? I hope not.

I don’t want to get all technical, but I’m sure you know the origin of the word “church” (at least the Spanish or French version). Something about an assembly. . . .

  2. Ruben Says:

    Not particularly.
You’re right –of course, then the time would be 9:30, as all orthodox people admit, but the place would be the new Jerusalem.

  3. Vic Bottomly Says:

9:30 is only half of it. The truly orthodox also meet at 11:00. Maybe the Soviets were on to something with their one time zone.

Being dull of wit, I only now figured out that Romans 6:4 has something to do with all of this.

  5. Ruben Says:

Oh, but that would take the cynicism out of it. Let’s ground it on Zechariah 1:20 instead.
